tidy hotel, facilities are very nice, and the location is quiet and simply wonderful by a rented car or by taxi. the rooms are huge and brand-new, and are complete with seaview and shower plus a balcony.

It has favourable, beautiful setting, next to cafes, the islands' best restaurants and the capital. You will be about a 5-minute drive from Praia da Prainha.

Nestled in a charming village square, this hotel impresses with its private marina and proximity to the ocean. One can enjoy a nice walk by the stony beach and a refreshing swim in the saltwater pool. The rooms are spacious and clean with excellent views of the ocean and village. The breakfast buffet is top-notch, and the restaurant staff are highly praised for their delicious food and friendly service. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus for a day trip to Funchal.

The reception could have done a better job informing guests about local attractions and how dinner was served.

We had a fantastic family vacation at a stunning resort. The location was perfect, with breathtaking views of the ocean and a marina right at our doorstep. There were several amazing boat tours available nearby, allowing us to explore the beautiful coastline and discover hidden coves and caves. Our room was spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and a modern bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, making sure that all our needs were met. The delicious breakfast buffet provided a wide variety of options. We also enjoyed the convenience of the on-site facilities, such as the pool and beach area. it was a memorable experience.

We did encounter some issues with the dining options. The resort mainly offered fast food choices, which became repetitive and limited for our family.

Some staff members appeared demotivated and lacked friendliness. There were several damaged equipment and poor quality materials throughout the hotel.

The hotel was beautifully designed with attention to detail in all the finishes. The breakfast spread was superb and catered to all tastes. Another aspect that we enjoyed was the well-maintained swimming pool with great views of the surrounding area.

Some basic amenities were lacking. We were surprised to find no drinking water or coffee/tea in the room.

We loved the location on the waterfront with stunning ocean views from our room. The hotel facilities, including the pools and beach area, were excellent. The breakfast had a huge variety and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Additionally, the location was useful to enable us to see the rest of the island.

A few things made our experience less than perfect. For example, the minibar was empty, and we had to ask for it to be filled.

The views from every part of the hotel were absolutely stunning - jaw-dropping! The pool bar was super cool, with a diverse menu and served late into the night. The pool itself offered mind-blowing views. We loved that the hotel had four different dining options for lunch and dinner, giving us the chance to try something new every day. The hotel's location was just a 30-minute drive from Funchal, making it convenient to explore the area. We also discovered a lovely sand beach in Machico with a delicious restaurant. The supermarket at the harbor was amazing, stocked with everything we needed and the woman there was so friendly. Although we didn't spot any whales on the whale watching excursion, we were mesmerized by the abundance of dolphins - it was unforgettable! The hiking trails near the hotel offered breathtaking views, especially the walk next to the hotel. A must-visit on Madeira is the Sao Vicente caves - they are truly awe-inspiring! And let's not forget the GREAT wifi connection throughout the hotel, allowing us to stay connected wherever we went.
